The listings on this page are editorial picks, not sponsored placements. We choose places where a small group can talk without shouting and without a minimum spend, and we check that each one is still open before it appears here. If a venue closes, changes its format, or stops welcoming small groups, we remove it rather than leave a stale entry.
No venue pays to be listed, and no listing includes a booking link or a price. Neighborhood, type of space, and a short note on why it suits a low-key meetup are the only fields we publish.
Readers can send a place through the contact form. A person reads every submission before anything is added, so a suggestion is not the same as a confirmed listing.
Opening days, seating, and noise levels shift over time. Treat each entry as a starting point and confirm the basics before you bring a group of four or five people.
Listing a place does not mean a group meets there on a fixed schedule. These are spaces that suit conversation, not organized events with confirmed attendance.
